The gala will benefit Hudson Valley charities and non-profit organizations.
The highlight of the evening will be a glitzy, glamorous Las Vegas-style show featuring “Elvis” tribute artist Cody Ray Slaughter. Tagged as one of the most talented, young Elvis tribute artists in the country, Slaughter was the youngest man ever to be named the “Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist” by Elvis Presley Enterprises in Memphis, TN during Elvis Tribute Week. Slaughter also took on the role of Elvis Presley in the national tour of the Tony-Award-winning hit “The Million Dollar Quarter.”
The Arkansas native has performed across the nation, in Canada, the UK and Australia. He claimed “The People’s Choice Award” during Elvis Week in 2008, and in 2011, he received “The Horizon Award” for the best new Elvis Tribute Artist at the Las Vegas Elvis Fest. He has also appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” on CBS TV at the Ed Sullivan Theater in Manhattan. Both Slaughter and Presley were the same age when they appeared on that same stage.
The evening will feature a casino with blackjack and poker tables, roulette, a money wheel and more. Two aerialists will entertain and pour champagne, plus guests will enjoy an open bar, cocktail hour with hors-d'oeuvres, food stations, music and dancing, raffle prizes, coffee and a dessert bar.
“We are so excited about this fantastic event that will bring Las Vegas right here to the Hudson Valley,” said Bonnie Koff, chair of the HG REALTOR® Foundation Fundraising committee. “For all the years I’ve done fundraising events for the Foundation, this is most exciting to date."
Tickets are $150 per person and the proceeds will benefit local charities and non-profit organizations throughout the lower Hudson Valley.
Event sponsorships are also available at various levels. For more information, please visit www.HGAR.com.
